We just passed a movie set in Cordell, Oklahoma where they were filming The Killer within Us or something like that.
Maybe The Killer Inside Me, 1950s classic noir novel by Jim Thompson set in West Texas that I’m coincidentally reading right now?
**According to that IMDB page, it’s shooting in Enid, OK, so I’m guessing that was it. So far the book is really good — its pretty raw with its descriptions of sex and violence (and the strange places those two things intersect) for that time period.
