This is an exploratory year, so we’re starting small to see if we can build a base before creating an official chapter. A Detroit chapter would have some unique issues to overcome (unpredictable weather, vastness of the metro area, personal safety). Slow’s is certainly on the agenda, but there are other good places under consideration (Red Smoke BBQ in Greektown, R.U.B. BBQ Pub in Detroit and Warren, Red Hot and Blue in Sterling Heights, and Lockhart’s in Royal Oak).
